Holy Name Dedicates New NICU

Holy Name has a brand-new Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. A dedication ceremony was held on October 4 for the state-of-the-art NICU. The Level III unit, which was approved and licensed by the New Jersey Department of Health in June, is an upgrade from its previous status as a Level II special care nursery.

The transition to a Level III NICU will allow Holy Name to support its smallest and most delicate infants. It features cutting-edge medical technology and a full staff of neonatologists, nurses, respiratory therapists and other specialists to provide precise care.

This advancement follows the recent modernization of Holy Name’s BirthPlace, offering more comfort and convenience for parents.
